She comes from a family of actors and began her own acting career in the mid-1990s, appearing in films such as “Hackers” and “Girl, Interrupted”. She rose to even greater prominence with her portrayal of Lara Croft in the “Tomb Raider” franchise in the early 2000s. In addition to her work in film, Jolie has been involved in various humanitarian efforts and has served as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). She has also adopted several children from around the world and has been a vocal advocate for their welfare.
